I was fortunate to attend a weekend workshop with Svend in the early 1990's in Southern Oregon. What amazed me most was, at the end of the workshop, he had used several hundred pounds of clay to construct his large garden pots, and had maybe two pounds of scrap clay left over. A very economical potter and a wonderful man. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
