A productive day...looks like I'll be chasing plastic for awhile. I also have some large bowls and large baking dishes waiting under plastic. A wood firing is on the horizon.

Wish I had the time to spend a whole day doing that...
do you ever wad those large flat bottom dishes? i had quite a few bits stuck to the shelf in my last firing and ruined some nice pieces but they are a bit on the large size and have flat bottoms...cheers ang

yeah, i wad everything, better safe than sorry! the rule i follow for large wide pieces is that the wads can be no more than 2 inches apart. maybe a few in the middle if it's real wide with a flat bottom.
52! Holy cow! You're going to need a bigger kiln soon.
i've got lofty dreams buddy. just waiting for that deal on firebrick to materialize.
